Laid-back yet fully present, creative yet deeply attentive, Rryuhn cultivated an environment that felt welcoming, celebratory, and effortlessly cool. Over the course of three hours, laughter flowed easily, nerves dissolved, and what began as a simple outing transformed into something profoundly meaningful. Yes, our tattoos are flawless—precisely what we envisioned and beautifully executed. But as a mother of a newly turned eighteen-year-old, the true gift of that day transcends ink. Sharing that milestone experience with my daughter and my closest friend is one of those rare, luminous moments I know will replay in my mind for the rest of my life. There are countless places one can go for a technically good tattoo. But if you’re searching for something deeper—an experience that feels intentional, joyful, and unforgettable—Rryuhn at Copper Coin is the artist to see. Pandora is absolutely amazing. She always takes the time to listen to your ideas and gives you exactly what you want. Her black work is crisp and amazing. She is such a fun and interesting lady. I have been wanting a tribal phoenix on my arm for so long and she took the time to listen and work through the process with me and drew up exactly what I wanted and we finally got it on. Absolutely love love love it. So many compliments. Pandora is my tattoo artist and you should make her yours.

I can not express enough how impressed I am with Copper Coin! After a bad experience with another parlor in Grand Rapids last year, (not on my skin, fortunately!) I revisited my idea for a tattoo this spring. It didn't take much googling to decide that Copper Coin was going to be my choice. I contacted Erica, and set up a consult. She is absolutely amazing! With a few pictures, and insightful discussion, we scheduled an appt., and she told me that she would "bring my idea to life." Earlier today, she did just that! I could not possibly be happier with the design and application of the idea that I brewed up in my head last year. Erica, as well as the other artists in this shop are top notch. Friendly, extremely talented, professional, and cool! It's also been stated in many other reviews, but the vibe in this place is off the charts! Michael's selection of music was awesome, and the place is extremely clean with awesome decor! Kool with a capital K!!

This is a very cool tattoo shop with a lot of nice folks and the aesthetic is to die for . Lily is such an incredible artist and has made me feel so comfortable with them that I’ve booked my 10th tattoo all done by them . I waited a very long time to start getting tattoos because it’s hard to trust someone to put permanent marks on your body and a lot of people look at you crazy when you say you are obsessed with bugs , Lily said “me too” and is creating a bug sleeve I couldn’t have ever imagined would be so perfect and getting it done in time so I look sick as hell in my wedding attire . They have such a beautiful and unique style I’ve had strangers ask to take pictures of my tattoos and get constantly complimented on them . I did not expect to bond with my tattoo artist and have them become one of my favorite people ever but now lily is not just my Artist they are my friend . You will not find a better person to mark you permanently!!
